Although growing up going to church, Steve led a secular life in pursuit of worldly goals until later in life when he was saved by God’s grace alone. Shortly after his conversion, the Lord fostered a desire in him to learn more about the Bible which led to his enrollment at Capital Bible Seminary where he completed both a Master of Divinity and Theological Masters course of study over four years. Durning his time at Seminary, Steve met and married his ministry partner Katie, and after graduation they served on the mission field together for 17 years in East Asia.
During the COVID pandemic, Steve was forced to returned to the States for a period of several years where he pastored at Saving Grace Bible Church in Venice, FL. While serving there, he was formerly ordained by the Elders of Saving Grace, installed as an Elder, and served on staff alongside Pastor Eric.
In 2022, Steve and Katie returned to the mission field for four more years before relocating to North Carolina to support Pastor Eric to plant a Bible Church in the Lake Norman area.
